You can make a new theme for Proxmox, and many have done so. The oldest came to PVE 6. The most feamose was "PVE Discord Dark", now we have some newer themes: Nord PVE, Solar PVE and new forks of PVE Discord Dark.

Due to the new kernel recognizing more features of some hardware, like for example virtual functions, and interface naming often derives from the PCI(e) address, some NIC may change their name, in which case the network configuration needs to be adapted.

To add more info from the sensors and show that information (fan speed; drives, CPU and RAM temps) directly on the Summary Page. Remove the nag-screen that we do not like (because it forces us to do extra clicks). Or updating all the containers by a command or automatically using CRON scheduling.

I like ricing my Linux stuff. This post is about a team from "dabeastnet". It will replace the default Proxmox theme. It's a Solarized inspired Light & Dark CSS theme for the PVE web UI. And yes, it will automatically switch to dark mode whenever the PVE dark theme is loaded.
